Ledgent Finance and Accounting has a manufacturing partner near the St Paul area needing to add to their Accounting team!

Responsibilities
- Facilitate the full-cycle processing of vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of billing issues.
- Coordinate scheduled vendor payments and maintain organized supplier account information.
- Review open payables and communicate with vendors regarding account status and payment inquiries.
- Create and distribute customer billing documents while ensuring invoice accuracy.
- Record incoming payments, reconcile customer accounts, and track outstanding receivables.
- Support collection efforts by proactively communicating with customers regarding past-due balances
- Reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts to support accurate financial reporting.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including account analysis and financial data preparation.
- Maintain and update accounting information within the Epicor ERP platform.
- Generate reports and provide accounting support for departmental and management needs.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to effectively communicate with both employees and management and maintain a positive working relationship when addressing and solving problems
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook
- Fundamental knowledge of ERP system processes, Epicor is a plus
