Job Description

Ledgent Finance and Accounting has a manufacturing partner near the St Paul area needing to add to their Accounting team!

  • Pay: $24-$26/hr
  • Fully Onsite
  • Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
  • Contract to Hire

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the full-cycle processing of vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of billing issues.
  • Coordinate scheduled vendor payments and maintain organized supplier account information.
  • Review open payables and communicate with vendors regarding account status and payment inquiries.
  • Create and distribute customer billing documents while ensuring invoice accuracy.
  • Record incoming payments, reconcile customer accounts, and track outstanding receivables.
  • Support collection efforts by proactively communicating with customers regarding past-due balances
  • Reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts to support accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including account analysis and financial data preparation.
  • Maintain and update accounting information within the Epicor ERP platform.
  • Generate reports and provide accounting support for departmental and management needs.
  • Qualifications:

    • Must be able to effectively communicate with both employees and management and maintain a positive working relationship when addressing and solving problems
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook
    • Fundamental knowledge of ERP system processes, Epicor is a plus
